Beards are a lifestyle choice, not 30-day flight of fancy! You couldn’t handle the beard for the other 11 months, why try now?

i partially agree. 

Why? Because you might like what you see and decide to keep it. Quite frankly I’d prefer No Shave 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015….you get the idea.

I understand the argument and agree in principle, but if a lot of people do it, it means that more men experience having a beard and people get used to seeing more beards.  It’s also a great way to give young guys a chance to try it out, even if they aren’t ready for a full beard yet.
